That is how UKIYO began: from Victor’s creative eye and Sergio’s search for authentic, conscious travel, always accompanied by Helena.

We are two brothers with very different paths, but united by the same way of seeing the world.
Víctor, a content creator and constant seeker of stories, has spent years capturing moments that inspire people to travel.
Sergio, a passionate traveler who explores the world with Helena and has found in each journey a way of life and a way to understand the beauty of what is authentic.
For years we traveled separately, learning, discovering and living experiences that, without knowing it, were leading us to the same place: creating something together.

2021 · The awakening
Sergio meets Helena
After a period of change, Sergio meets Helena. She shares with him her excitement for travel and for discovering cultures very different from their own.
2022 · Pura Vida
Discovering Costa Rica
Their first adventure together: Costa Rica. Rainforests, volcanoes and a way of inhabiting time that set the tone for everything that came after.
2023 · Indonesia
Opening horizons
Sergio and Helena prepare a trip that breaks away from traditional travel. Indonesia changes their lives. Victor starts documenting everything on YouTube.
2024 · The seed
First organized trips
Friends and acquaintances begin asking for help organizing their own trips. Without planning it, the seed of UKIYO starts to take shape.
2025 · Off on an adventure!
Ukiyo is born
Sergio, Helena and Víctor take the definitive step. The website is born, with humility and one non-negotiable principle: to organise only trips we know first-hand.
