Living temples
Tirta Empul, Besakih, Tanah Lot, Uluwatu. They are not monuments: they are places of worship where ceremonies take place every day.
Ubud’s rice fields, temples at sunrise, southern beaches and corners you can still enjoy slowly. We design routes that avoid the tourist noise.
Bali is more alive than its reputation. Beneath the Canggu reels there are rice fields, daily Hindu ceremonies and an almost empty north that still notices the traveller.
We design private routes based in Ubud or the north, avoiding the busiest spots in the south. Temples at sunrise, traditional houses with local families and walks among the terraces of Tegalalang or Jatiluwih.
It is not a checklist trip. It is a change of pace: learning to offer canang sari in the morning, getting wet under a moss-covered waterfall and discovering that the island is bigger than it seemed.
Six reasons why a tailor-made trip to Bali looks little like the photos in your feed.
Tirta Empul, Besakih, Tanah Lot, Uluwatu. They are not monuments: they are places of worship where ceremonies take place every day.
Tegalalang, Jatiluwih or Sidemen. Walks through endless green and running water with the subak system, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Amed, Lovina, Munduk. Bali without the crowds: fishermen, coffee, waterfalls and volcanoes on your doorstep.
Ubud is the capital without masks: serious retreats, renowned teachers and a spiritual ecosystem the island has cultivated for decades.
Bingin, Padang Padang, Balian. Waves for every level and clifftop sunsets with no clock.
Tulamben (USS Liberty), Menjangan and Nusa Penida. Clear water, manta rays and reefs still full of life.
From Ubud to the north. Every route is unique; these are the places we talk through with you to design your trip.
The cultural capital: rice fields, temples, markets and a serious food scene. An ideal base for 3–5 nights.
The holy-water temple: a purification ceremony in springs that have been flowing for centuries. Best at sunrise.
The most photographed rice fields, but there are three-hour trails where you end up on your own. We take you to the right starting point.
The mountainous north: waterfalls, coffee plantations and a mild climate. Bali without hire cars.
Cliffs in the south, Kecak dance at sunset and legendary waves. A perfect day if you are coming from the airport.
A farming valley between Agung and the sea. Bamboo houses and walks through rice fields without a single tourist.
A fishing village, snorkelling with manta rays and diving on the USS Liberty in Tulamben. The east has not changed yet.
One hour by boat from Sanur: sheer cliffs, mantas at Manta Bay and beaches such as Kelingking. Ideal for 2 nights.
